Constructed using GORE's signature Windstopper fabrication, the R5 Windstopper Women's Tights provides excellent weather protection. The fabric is totally windproof and delivers maximum breathability to keep you comfortable in cool and windy weather conditions. By blocking out ferocious wind this technology keeps you warm and protected as you train whilst still allowing the garment to release warm air and let cooler, fresher air in. This combination of protection and breathability minimizes the wind's chilling effect and reducing the risk of overheating when you are active. Windstopper is also water repellent ensuring you remain dry during light showers. Inside the tights, the seams are flat-locked, which will reduce the risk of rubbing and chafing from occurring and causing discomfort and irritation. Finding a comfortable and secure fit is easy, as the tights have an adjustable elastic waistband. The fit of the tights can be easily adjusted with a flat cord which will sit on the waist without any bunching causing any discomfort. Towards the bottom of the tights leg zippers exist to provide complete temperature control, they can be worn down in colder climate to seal in heat or when the temperature begins to rise they can be worn down to release and intolerable heat build-up. A pocket features on the back of the tights and is ideal for stashing small essentials whilst you run.
