Constructed using two fabrications, the softshell jacket is designed to move with you during the most extreme pursuits yet still protect you when the weather changes. The hybrid construction has a membrane at the top of the garment which provides ultimate weather protection. The weatherproof fabric repels harsh winds and rain to keep you comfortable, warm and dry at all times. The waterproof and windproof fabrication protects you when the weather takes a turn for the worst. As well as this, a secondary fabrication on the main body provides maximum comfort and breathability. The soft shell fabric allows cool air to flow into the garment whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape so you'll never have to feel and uncomfortable heat build-up. This creates a perfect microclimate for you skin to thrive in. The softshell fabric encourages freedom of movement it all directions so can continue without restriction.
Added to provide extra protection, the Helly Hansen Odin Mountain Softshell Jacket feature a hood. The hood can be used to shield the face from harsh wind and rain whilst the vertical and horizontal adjustments allow you to find the perfect fit. Moulded cuff tabs allow for a stay-put fit that helps to seal in esacping heat plus, articulated arms ensure a comfortable fit. As well as this, the jacket also features a chest pocket and two hand pockets which provide ample storage space for essential items. A RECCO reflector completes the garment, making you searchable to professional rescuers in the event of an avalanche accident. Its a small, battery-free transponder which responds to signals from a RECCO detector, aiding in the detection of the wearer - a useful bit of kit to have when you call the mountains home.
