Sporting a two-layer GORE-TEX material, the Astral GORE-TEX II jacket is highly waterproof and durable. These materials provide optimum protection from rain and moisture in poor, changing weather, including snowy conditions. A mesh lining has been added within the jacket, improving the ventilation and allowing air to flow freely. The lining also ensures moisture is wicked away from the skin to maintain dry conditions within the jacket. The underarm ventilation system further enhances airflow, helping you cool down effectively by unzipping the pockets. To ensure a secure fit, the hood features three drawcords that help personalise the fit of the jacket in windy and wet weather. The cuffs feature hook-and-loop straps to secure them in place, and the hem has a drawcord running through it to pull tight. Multiple pockets have been added to provide optimal storage, including two side pockets that are backpack compatible, a chest pocket for small essentials, an internal drop-in pocket for quick storage and a ski pass pocket on the arm.
