Roller Mesh Upper
Constructed using a roller mesh fabric, the upper of the Skyterra encourages cool air to flow, while removing unwanted warm air to help regulate temperature and create a perfect microclimate where feet can thrive. A textile lining helps to increase breathability and comfort, with heel pul tabs assisting in putting the shoes on and off. The soft, padded heel collar sits close to the heel for enhanced comfort, while the minimal tongue reduces irritation caused by rubbing. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.
DynaTPE Midsole
Offering excellent cushioning and comfort underfoot, the Skyterra utilise a nitrogen-injected, supercritical DynaTPE midsole. The compound has been structured through a complex injection-moulding process that uses multiple layers of foam padding, poured into a mould. This soft cushioning absorbs impact when striking down on hard, unforgiving grounds, preventing injuries and keeping you comfortable. The foam is responsive to provide energetic strides for a comfortable experience when tackling challenging terrains.
Vibram TRAC ULTRA 2 Outsole
The Skyterra has been created with the high-performance Vibram TRAC ULTRA 2 outsole optimised for maximum grip. The outsole features a multi-directional profile alignment that provides optimal grip on various terrains. Combined with a distinctive heel edge, the sole allows pleasant rolling for comfortable ascents and descents. The outstanding Vibram soles and rubber blends offer impressive traction on various surfaces and, at the same time, optimal abrasion resistance. Completing the outsole are multi-directional lugs that dig into the ground for biting traction.
