3D Mesh Upper
Constructed using a 3D mesh fabric, the upper of the Amplux 2 encourages cool air to flow, while removing unwanted warm air to help regulate temperature and create a perfect microclimate where feet can thrive. Working alongside the mesh are TPU overlays that give the shoe optimal structure, support and also increase durability. Additionally, the shoes feature a GORE-TEX lining, providing exceptional waterproof and breathable protection to ensure optimal comfort and shield feet from the elements on the trail. The soft, padded heel collar sits close to the heel for enhanced comfort, while the minimal tongue reduces irritation caused by rubbing. Heel pull tabs assist in putting the shoes on and off, and completing the upper is a traditional lacing system, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.
DynaEVA Midsole
Providing excellent cushioning and outstanding comfort, the Amplux 2 utilises a DynaEVA midsole construction. The compound has been developed using a triple-density foam to provide you with a shoe that stands out from the crowd, including shape retention properties, meaning the shoes will maintain their exceptional cushioning properties even after many miles you endure. The durable compound provides you with excellent grip and traction across the varying surfaces of your trail, preparing you for every stage. Alongside this are multidirectional lugs, which dig into the ground to provide excellent grip, keeping you stable on your next hike.
