Centred around use on technical trails, Mountain King's lightest and most race-focused pole has been used to perfect the SkyRunner Edge's performance on steep climbs and sharp descents. With a RDC Carbon Fibre construction, the Edge uses high-strength carbon material to ensure optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio for demanding terrain. The carbon poles also fold down into a 4 section 'Z pole' formation, to be efficiently stored away within either your quiver or race vest with ease. This is easily reversed for deploying mid race or mid climb for quick equip-ability on the go. The handles of the Edge feature EVA foam grips and power straps to ensure ultimate grip for you, avoiding slipping while in use. At its core is the UK designed Edge Clip system, a fast attach, secure grip and strap solution to enable efficient power transfer through each stride. This unique mechanism helps to streamline transitions during technical terrains, the Edge Clip responds without delay. The Edge Glove works in collaboration with this mechanism to ensure a snug hold to enhance control and responsiveness while maximising agility and comfort. Made from high density 3D spacer fabric, the glove offers high durability and quick drying properties whilst being highly breathable to avoid moisture build up in the palms, keeping your grip firm - exactly what is needed in the unpredictable world of ultra-distance running. To complete the construct of the SkyRunner Edge is a tungsten carbide tip, offering maximum traction on rugged terrains. A Premium Ripstop storage bag is also provided to protect your poles when not in use, offering extreme durability to stop scratches, dents and damage through extreme conditions.
