Constructed using On's highly responsive Swiss-engineered Helion HF hyper foam midsole, the Cloudspike Citius offers exceptional energy return that reduces impact on the body to prevent injury, perfect for middle-distance track races. Not only does On's hyper foam enable the midsole to deliver supreme energy return and comfort, but it also provides you with a supportive stride for a more efficient run. The responsive and supportive cushioning adapts to your running style, absorbing impact, reducing strain and helping you to feel like you're running on clouds. This cushioning midsole features the maximum allowed stack height to remain compliant with regulations to keep legs feeling fresh and fast, even on the last lap. As well as offering supportive energy return, the spikes also enable athletes to maintain an efficient and steady pace. This is provided by the half-length nylon-blend Speedboard. It works to deliver a harmonious balance between sturdy stability and potent propulsion to push you forward to the last lap. The Speedboard works to add an extra spring in your stride, therefore enhancing explosive toe-offs and encouraging a more natural stride. Lastly, the spikes utilise six lightweight spike pins alongside a surface-gripping heel pad to provide unmatched traction in wet and dry conditions.
