Kniited Upper
Constructed to be breathable but with a close and comfortable fit, the Cloudmonster 3s upper has been created with a knitted fabric supplying feet with constant comfort and protection. The knitted upper provides a snug fit that locks the foot in place while remaining comfortable. Perforations within the fabric increase airflow, encouraging cool air to flow while releasing built-up heat, ensuring that you remain cool no matter what stage of your run. The no-sew construction sits soft against the foot, reducing hotspots and minimising irritation. The uppers, like the previous model, are moisture-wicking, meaning sweat is effectively removed from your skin's surface, providing a quick-drying sensation. The step-in of the Cloudmonster makes running almost irresistible, and utilising a soft sockliner, the shoes are extremely comfortable, allowing you to enjoy your run for the duration. The midsole reacts to your movements, compressing horizontally and vertically to cushion where it should, providing you with nonstop comfort all day long. The Cloudmonster 3 has been created for soft landings and powerful take-offs, thanks to On's innovative CloudTec technology, making every step effortless. CloudTec is a unique cushioning system that absorbs impact, reduces strain and adapts to your running style, providing a comfortable ride from the first mile to the last. The shoes now have a more aggressive rocker geometry. The technology provides a unique fulcrum effect, similar to a rocking chair, which encourages a guided gait cycle for a more efficient run. Sandwiched within the midsole is the all-new Nylon-blend Speedboard, a full-length plate designed to give you extreme propulsion when transitioning from forefoot to midfoot. The plate bends and flexes with your run to propel you forward, helping you achieve those PBs. The outsole of the shoe features updated rubber pads for greater traction and durability in wet and dry conditions than the previous model.
