In line with the Alpine Pro range, the Pro 800 is the warmest of the range, making it perfect for winter use. Whether you're snow-holing in Scotland or setting up basecamp, this rugged bag offers exceptional protection and warmth in cold conditions. The bag has a mummy taper shape, meaning it is both roomy and comfortable, with an angled footbox that keeps your feet warm, yet still allows for movement. The improvements Rab has made to the taper shape and box wall height, mean better down lofting to maximum warmth is ensured. The Alpine Pro 800 is made from Pertex Quantum Pro, a durable fabric that uses an ultra-thin, water-resistant coating to provide increased protection during rough conditions. By combining a tightly woven face fabric with a microporous coating, the Pertext Pro delivers you excellent weather protection, whilst also remaining lightweight, soft and breathable. Not only this but the sleeping bag is hand filled with 650FP European Duck Down, which is help in trapezoidal chambers designed to eliminate cold spots. The product has an insulating internal 3D collar with a hood drawcord to keep the cold drafts out, and a 3/4 length YKK zip with an anti-snag bonded zip guard for easier access. A handy internal stash pocket resides in the sleeping bag, allowing you to store any essentials.
