Waterproof Mesh Upper
Designed as a winter essential, the Supercross Winter Trail Running Shoes feature a breathable mesh upper with a ClimaSalomon waterproof membrane creating the ideal shoe for comfort and protection during the winter months. Kicking off the upper is the breathable mesh that stops the build-up of unwanted and uncomfortable heat, allowing it to escape and be replaced with fresh air for outstanding comfort throughout your run. The upper is also highly durable, resisting abrasions and protecting the feet from debris whilst out on the trail. As well as this a gaiter that simulates a mid-cut had been included within the design of the shoes to provide you with greater protection and warmth. The ClimaSalomon Waterproof membrane helps to protect your feet against wintery conditions as the membrane avoids water and snow from entering the shoes, keeping your feet protected, dry, and warm on colder winter days. Sensifit technology employs welded overlays to wrap the foot in a firm, customised fit; they help to anchor you to the midsole and reduce in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. EnergyCell Midsole
Within the midsole, the shoe has injected and compressed EVA which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. An OrthoLite sockliner also exists underfoot to provide the foot with a cushioned and cooler environment, whilst also reducing the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing.
