Scarpa R-Evo GORE-TEX Walking Boots

GORE-TEX Upper

Found within the upper of the R-Evo is a GORE-TEX membrane that will guard against the entry of moisture. When exposed to moisture, the membrane will immediately work by blocking it from entering the inside of the boots. This will mean that any molecules will roll off the boot, ensuring a dry and comfortable feel on the inside. Despite sealing the moisture out, the membrane will still allow air to enter and exit through the upper of the boot. This will mean that you will always feel ventilated and comfortable, no matter how intense your activity has become. The surface of the R-Evo is also has a water-resistant coating that will bead any surface moisture before wicking it away from it. The upper is designed for durability, able to stand up against all sorts of abuse placed upon it. The boots have a firm toe cap, as well as a firm heel cup that will offer solid protection to any heavy contacts or forces placed against IT. The lacing system runs from the forefoot all the way up to the ankle, which will keep you feeling secured and comfortable. The high-rise ankle is extremely soft and comfortable, also allowing a wide range of motion, meaning that you won't be hindered or prevented from making any movements in them. This will also block the entrance of dirt and debris. A padded tongue will sit comfortably on the ankle, completing the upper of the boot.

Comfort Flex Midsole

With a shock-absorbing midsole the R-Evo GORE-TEX will provide you with supreme comfort and protection. This is because all shocks and heavy impacts are attenuated instantly and effectively, stopping the forces from reaching the sole of the foot. Additionally, the comfort flex midsole is able to transfer this energy into rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures that with every step you will feel a soft cushioned feel, making the first step of the day feel as comfortable as the last one.

Vibram Salix Trek Outsole

Giving you that crucial grip between the rocky and uncertain terrain and the boot, the R-Evo uses a Vibram Salx Trek outsole. The rubber used is able to grip onto a wide range of different surfaces, creating a solid base no matter what. This will give you the confidence to push on, safe in the knowledge that you are under control. The rubber itself is designed to stand up to abuse from below, so it will retain its grip and definition over a long period of time. The outsole also benefits from using multi-directional lugs and grooves, keeping you anchored in place in wet conditions.
