Scarpa Rush 2 GORE-TEX Women's Walking Shoes

The Rush 2 GORE-TEX is new, dynamic and comfortable to explore the trails. It has been designed for women who approach the mountains at a faster pace and require support and protection. Comfort and cushioning are ensured by the IKS technology, which progressively and specifically supports body weight during activity. The new anti-torsion system improves stability and heel containment, while the GORE-TEX membrane guarantees waterproof protection.

Mesh, Microfibre and Film Upper

Providing exceptional levels of breathability, the upper of the Rush 2 GORE-TEX has been constructed using a soft and comfortable eco-mesh and microfibre material to keep you cool, comfortable and light over the trail. The mesh material allows cool air to enter the shoe and circulate, providing a cooling sensation, while also allowing any intolerable build-up of warmth to escape. Teamed with this lightweight, breathable fabric is a TPU film in key areas that adds durability to the upper. An integrated 3D toe cap provides additional protection. Utilising a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit, the Rush 2 supplies feet with waterproof protection when the weather takes a turn for the worse on your outdoor adventure. This highly waterproof membrane prevents water from entering, keeping your feet dry without compromising on fit, flexibility and weight. Bonded directly to the upper, the lightweight construction of this membrane is engineered to be invisible, creating a mesh-like comfort feel. The traditional lacing system provides a locked-in fit that prevents in-shoe slippage. This lacing system has been specifically designed to evenly redistribute pressure, allowing precise adjustment of the upper closure without pressure points.

Dual-Density EVA Midsole

Featuring an EVA midsole with two density areas, the Rush 2 absorbs impacts on the trail to keep you feeling comfortable throughout your hike. Low-density foam inserts in the heel and forefoot provide enhanced cushioning in these key areas, whilst a DST (Dynamic Stabiliser Torsion System) TPU Frame improves stability and heel containment. This ergonomic TPU shank features differentiated thickness grooves for anti-torsional control over uneven terrains. The high-density EVA midsole provides supportive cushioning underfoot and is teamed with a medium-density EVA heel insert for shock absorption.

PRESA HIK-03 Outsole

A PRESA HIK-03 sole, developed by SCARPA with SuperGum rubber compound, completes the Rush 2 GORE-TEX. Made using the perfect blend of durability and grip for on and off-road adventures, the PRESA HIK-03 outsole provides traction on multiple terrains for all your adventures. This is achieved thanks to Scarpa's sole design, which has been created with four key areas: the propulsion area in the midfoot, the braking area in the heel, a maximum grip area along the toes and a stability area through the midfoot, arch and heel. The multi-directional lugs provide the needed amount of grip, especially in wet conditions, providing a solid base to push off from. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, retaining its shape and definition even when used on hard and rough surfaces. With IKS technology (Interactive Kinetic System), characterised by 7 cushioning areas (domes): 6 in the forefoot and 1 on the heel, the 7 domes of the Rush 2 provide great cushioning and progressive support of bodyweight.
