Ripstop Upper
Made from Ripstop technology, the Dekkan Ripstops have durable, breathable and lightweight upper construction, providing you with a shoe you'll love. The tear-resistant uppers will provide you with excellent levels of protection on the trails or hiking routes. Not only this, but the materials are breathable, providing feet with a constant supply of airflow, to ensure that feet don't overheat and moisture-wicking to keep them dry during the more intense sessions of your hike or run. Further supplying you with protection from your changing surroundings, the shoes have a rubber toe cap and heel support, which helps to prevent injuries, as well as, keep feet well-contained within the shoes. Providing you additional levels of protection the shoes utilise rubber and TPU overlays to protect feet from knocks and bumps, preventing injuries on your adventures. Finally, the shoes utilise recycled polyester laces for keeping feet secure, and locked in, whilst a back loop helps to get the shoes on easier.
EVA Midsole
Utilising an EVA compound, the midsole of the Dekkan Ripstop works to cushion the foot upon impact, reducing the stress and strain placed upon the muscles and joints in the foot and ankle. This leads to a reduced risk of injury both short and longer-term, as footstrike after footstrike is buffered. Additionally, EVA provides gentle, springy rebounds, utilising the power of your last step to push you into your next one. This means you don't lose momentum, and forward movement feels like a breeze, all culminating in fatigue reduction, so you go further with ease.
Vibram Outsole
Providing you with exceptional levels of underfoot traction and support on differing, tricky terrains, the Veja Dekkan utilises a Vibram outsole. This outsole is a technical companion that works to provide you comfort and stability on the trail ahead. The grippy, durable lugs work to dig deep into the ground below, providing grip and traction across muddy or wet grounds.
