Veja Marlin Women's Running Shoes
Named after one of the fastest and most athletic fishes in the ocean, the Marlin was designed to unite and balance with the Condor 2 while satisfying the needs of the runners' community. The Marlin has been adapted for those days you have performance in mind.
V-Knit Upper
Providing you lightweight comfort and keeping you focused on the training ahead, the shoes have a V-knit upper. V-knit is a textile technic bringing you elasticity and adaptability to your feet. It is constructed in a one-piece to reduce layering and stitches on the sneaker, therefore helping to prevent irritation or abrasion. Not only this, but the materials are thin and soft, with excellent breathability, to ensure feet remain cool and comfortable, even during the more intense sessions. TPU overlays enhance the level of shielding for your feet, as well as, have a durable nature, keeping feet well protected and comfortable. The shoes have a bootie tongue construction to provide a snug fit alongside a traditional lace-up system to ensure you are provided with a locked-in and secure fit.
EVA Midsole
Utilising an EVA compound, the midsole of the Marlin works to cushion the foot upon impact, reducing the stress and strain placed upon the muscles and joints in the foot and ankle. This leads to a reduced risk of injury both short and longer-term, as footstrike after footstrike is buffered. Additionally, EVA provides gentle, springy rebounds, utilising the power of your last step to push you into your next one. Added to the midsole are double L-Foam inserts which work to provide shock absorption to keep you comfortable and excellent energy return. An L-Foam heel insert also helps to keep your foot secure within the shoes, providing you with a comfortable ride.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Made from a combination of Amazonian rubber and rice waste, the Marlins have a rubber outsole, providing you with an excellent level of grip and traction across varied running surfaces. Rubber is provided in high-wearing areas of the shoes, to keep things long-lasting and reliable.
