Engineered Mesh Upper

Wrapping around your feet for a supremely comfortable and personalised fit, the engineered mesh on the upper of the Kinsei MAX is designed to fit like a second skin. The material will sit comfortably over the foot, moving and flexing to allow you to make a full range of movements without any restriction. The material will also allow a steady flow of air in and out, which will provide constant breathability and ventilation to keep you going for longer in comfort. The no-sew construction of the upper will also encourage targeted airflow, whilst also removing the risk of irritations being caused by rubbing and chafing. Completing the uppers of the Kinsei MAX shoes is a traditional lace-up construction that allows you to keep your foot locked down and secure inside the shoes, whilst a flat-lying tongue prevents irritation from occurring.

FlyteFoam Blast Midsole

The Asics Kinsei MAX running shoe's have a dual density midsole providing an energetic underfoot ride thanks to its FlyteFoam Blast and FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO midsole. This foam is softer and bouncier, providing a great feel from footstrike to toe-off. The soft and energetic nature of the midsole increases the underfoot softness, almost enveloping the foot in a plush, supportive wrap. FlyteFoam Blast is the main cushioning compound used in the Kinsei MAX because of its lightweight foam formulation and high energy return. Its lightweight foam construction reduces drag allowing you to run faster for longer whilst the elastomer creates a high energy return for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-offs. Resilient and innovative, FlyteFoam Blast technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it. The midsole's top layer has been created with FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO cushioning, this has been created with approx. 24% bio-based content and helps provide cloud-like comfort underfoot. Not only does the shoe include FF Blast that provides you with an energetic feel but Asics have included a TPU propulsion plate, this helps redirect your energy forward and create a faster feel when running. Further enhancing comfort and protection, a hybrid version of Asics conventional GEL™ technology has been introduced. The hybrid gel has been created with a foam center to help reduce weight while maintaining cushioning performance and impact absorption.

AHAR Rubber Outsole

An AHAR Rubber Outsole provides twice the abrasion resistance of the traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times.
