For support, comfort and control the Gel-Fortitude is a shoe you can truly rely on. Featuring a soft mesh upper for optimised breathability, an FF Blast midsole for excellent cushioning, and Litetruss technology for added support, the shoes are a great running companion.
Ensuring in-shoe breathability and outstanding levels of comfort, the shoes utilise a soft mesh upper. This lightweight upper provides feet with a constant level of enhanced breathability and a fresh sensation for feet to thrive under pressure. Strategically placed perforations are supplied throughout the materials to provide feet with a constant supply of airflow to keep you feeling cool and comfortable, especially during intense periods of your run. Moisture-wicking properties prevent the growth of sweat and moisture, keeping feet dry and fresh throughout the run. Constructed with minimal seams, the shoes prevent irritation and chafing from occurring and sit comfortably against your skin for distraction-free wearing. A soft, cushioned tongue and collar provide you with a locked-in, secure fit and ensure the shoes sit comfortably against your ankle and foot. Working with this, the traditional laces provide you with a locked-in, secure fit, helping to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring. Finally, a loop at the heel makes the shoes easier to put on.
Designed to improve performance and enhance in-shoe comfort, the shoes have an FF Blast midsole, which is a lightweight, responsive compound to keep you focused and comfortable on the road ahead. With excellent bounce and rebound, the shoes propel you forward on those long runs, providing you with the perfect amount of in-shoe cushioning to keep you focused on your performance. With shock absorption properties, the shoes will prevent discomfort or injury that can sometimes occur from impact when striking down on unforgiving, tough pavements. Further adding softness to your stride, the shoes utilise a PureGEL compound in the rearfoot, which offers a softer feel and creates smoother transitions during your stride. LITERUSS technology features in the midsole to improve your stability and encourage smooth transitions from heel to toe, helping to prevent overpronation and provide you with a more balanced stride.
The shoes are designed to provide excellent grip and traction on different road surfaces, thanks to the lightweight AHAR+ outsole compound. This durable outsole improves the longevity of the shoes, making them reliable for long-term use. Made from abrasive-resistant materials, this highly durable outsole provides the traction you need for distraction-free and enjoyable strides.
