Crafted with 3L GORE-TEX ePE fabric, the Extrem Vanguard pants are super waterproof and windproof while also being highly breathable and durable; they can withstand tough weather as well as possible snags and bumps during tricky climbs. Effective pattern cutting has been implemented into the design, with articulated knees for easy bending and stepping forward as well as a diamond gusset crotch to further enhance your freedom of movement for unrestricted use. The trousers feature fully separating zips on the waistband, simplifying taking them off and putting them on with a completely elasticated rear waist for a more customised fit and improved comfort. On the lower leg, stud adjustments and cinching have been implemented, making wear versatile for mountaineering and ski touring, while a kicker patch has been added to the inner hem for increased durability through wear. Internal gaiters sit within the elastic cuffs with stud fastening and a boot loop for a secure fit. Finally, two thigh pockets with water-resistant zips allow you to store essentials securely and are easy to access with harness-compatible placement.
