Super comfortable, high-quality full leather nubuck boot with a GORE-TEX lining for hiking in all terrain from flatter regions to easy mountain hut-to-hut tours.
Made from 100% finest LWG (Leather Working Group) rated nubuck leather, the upper of the Banks features high-quality leather with sustainable, eco-friendly manufacturing, making this walking boot from Hanwag a joy to walk in. The durable nubuck leather is designed to protect your feet from debris and tricky terrain so you can continue with confidence and minimal distractions. This will offer complete protection from any bumps or knocks that you might pick up when out on the trails. Inside stitch-and-turn seams offer enhanced abrasion resistance. Featuring on the upper of the Banks is a reliable combination of a durable GORE-TEX membrane and breathable GORE-TEX lining. The durably waterproof membrane acts as a barrier to keep your feet feeling dry and comfortable when the weather turns, and the breathable GORE-TEX lining will block the entry of all moisture whilst still allowing a constant flow of air to enter and exit through it. This will mean that your feet will have a temperature regulation that will keep you feeling fresh and comfortable at all times. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system with robust cast metal lace hooks that allow you to secure your foot to reduce in-shoe slippage for a stable and confident hike.
With a 1.5 mm thicker polyurethane foam wedge in the midsole, the Banks gives a smoother roll-off with noticeably better shock absorbency and longer-lasting comfort. This reinforced PU foam wedge ensures soft cushioning that works to protect your foot and joints as you strike down on unforgiving surfaces and tricky trails. The foam wedge absorbs shocks for even better protection and provides better roll-off for a midsole that allows you to hike faster for longer.
Featuring a Vibram Endurance Pro outsole, the Banks GORE-TEX Walking Boots from Hanwag have been designed to be used on demanding hikes in terrain ranging from lower mountain ranges to the foothills of the Alps as well as easier hut-to-hut trails with a lightweight pack. The forefoot is slightly larger for enhanced walking comfort, and the high-performance rubber compound offers unparalleled sticky grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to tackle tricky terrain with ease whether the surface is wet or dry. The durable rubber offers rugged longevity, providing unprecedented grip hike after hike and trail after trail. Deep lugs help you to move through dirt with ease. Designed to keep you feeling confident wherever your hike takes you, the Vibram Endurance Pro outsole ensures great traction and superior foot protection.
