Driven by the groundbreaking SpeedARC midsole system, the SpeedARC Matis revolutionises the way you hike, delivering advanced cushioning and unmatched energy return for a hiking sneaker that's so effortless, it's limitless.
The upper of the shoe is crafted from a highly breathable mesh fabric that allows built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst fresh air flows in for a pleasant cooling sensation. TPU overlays provide structure and durability, protecting your feet from knocks and scuffs out on the trail and providing stability. A moulded TPU heel counter increases the secure feel, locking your foot into place. A speed-lacing system cinches the fit with the added benefit of 60% recycled laces for an ethical choice. The padded collar feels plush, and the 100% recycled mesh lining furthers ventilation and comfort. A natural Cleansport NXT treatment has been utilised to keep odour-causing microbes at bay, helping your feet feel and smell fresher for longer.
The SpeedARC Matis fuses dual FloatPro foam layers with a Nylon FlexPlate engineering to give you unrivalled comfort and unstoppable energy return. The midsole is constructed from a double layer of FloatPro foam to deliver impressive underfoot cushioning. It attenuates shock as you strike down, protecting your joints and keeping your feet ache-free as you put in the miles. It then utilises the force of these impacts, pushing you into your next step, allowing you to walk further with less energy, helping you explore more of the great outdoors. The foam is extremely lightweight and won't weigh you down. A lightweight FlexPlate also resides within the midsole. It provides torsional rigidity, lateral stability, and forefoot flexibility, encouraging smoother transitions. A removable EVA foam footbed with a 100% recycled mesh cover provides step-in comfort underfoot, perfect for longer walks.
The gold standard on any trail, the SpeedARC Matis comes equipped with a Vibram Megagrip outsole, offering all-terrain control and superior grip from rugged trails to city streets. This high-performance Vibram Megagrip rubber forms a solid bond with the ground beneath for maximum adhesion, allowing you to feel confident as you traverse technical terrain and helping you with ascents, descents and everything in between. The rubber is highly durable, resisting damage to ensure long-lasting use and enjoyment. 3mm lugs bite into the earth beneath for impressive traction, great for wetter conditions.
