A trusted trail runner takes its rightful place in ACG. And it arrives with some all-conditions upgrades. The light and ultra-cushioned ACG Zegama combines grippy traction and more room for your toes to provide lasting comfort and control on rugged, off-road terrain.
Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the ACG Zegama promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your run. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing for heat to escape and making room for cooling freshness. The material also protects the foot from possible snags and reduces the possibility of distractions when racking up the miles. An ankle cuff has been added to the design, effectively blocking dirt and debris from entering the shoe and causing distraction over rugged trails, while the toe box and forefoot have been widened to allow your toes to splay, promoting better balance. A pull tab has been added to the heel to make slipping into the shoes a little easier, while traditional lacing has been utilised to effectively lock the midfoot into place for a snug and secure fit.
Nike's most resilient, responsive and lightest midsole compound, the ACG Zegama, utilises a ZoomX foam compound. The ZoomX compound delivers outstanding energy return properties, keeping feet feeling light and bouncy when running long and short distances. Running from heel to toe, this springy foam helps you maximise speed and has a more flexible construction, with shock-absorbing properties to absorb impact on joints when striking down onto tough surfaces. This helps reduce the risks of injury or discomfort and spares your joints during tough miles, keeping your legs fresh and you focused throughout your next run. Paired with their Cushlon 3 foam for a dual-stack, offering you the right amount of pop no matter what. It's more responsive and durable than ever, Nike's tried-and-true energy-return go-to.
Offering highly sticky grip and traction, the ACG Zegama features a rubber outsole of Vibram Megagrip, strategically placed to keep weight down and grip high. This adds durability and traction to the sole of the shoe for longevity in wear and shields you from sharp sticks and stones for a distraction-less run. This high-performance rubber compound offers unparalleled grip properties on both dry and wet terrains and is up to any challenge on every kind of terrain. It gives you confidence and control while maintaining an optimal balance between stability and flexibility for ground adaptation. With added traction lug technology, bite into soft and slippy surfaces for effective grip, no matter the conditions.
