Rab has taken their bestselling lightweight down jacket, and super-charged it with added wind resistance provided by WINDSTOPPER Products by GORE-TEX LABS. Warm, impressively windproof, yet breathable, it's a go-to insulated jacket for year-round mountain use.
The Microlight Windstopper Down jacket from Rab retains the versatile, easy-pack insulation of the classic jackets. A Pertex Quantum ripstop nylon fabric with DWR lining is what makes the shell of this garment packable, whilst being soft against the skin. Not only this, but the combination of zoned micro and nano baffles works to increase the warmth of the jacket, without compromising on the bulk or weight of the jacket, leaving you feeling warm and toasty even when the temperatures drop. The jacket uses GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER fabric to make it windproof, whilst still able to deliver maximum breathability. No matter how windy it gets, you can rely on the fabric to keep you warm and comfortable for longer days in the mountains, hiking, walking or mountaineering. Ensuring the jacket stays in line with Rab's ethics, the jacket uses 700-fill power European goose down with a Grangers fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finish to provide exceptional warmth. The slim, active fit moves with your body and is highly compressible when you need to stash it away. The full-length zip assists in putting the jacket on and off, and can also be used to help control ventilation. A cosy, down-filled, helmet-compatible hood with a stiffened peak offers additional elemental protection, while the adjustable drawcord hem enables you to alter the fit to a more personal one. Two hand and one chest pocket offer ample space to store your essential items, and lastly, the stretch cuffs sit close to the wrists to seal in the warmth.
