Welded Textile Upper

Constructed from a welded textile upper, the Salomon X Ultra 360 GORE-TEX keep water at bay so you can walk with confidence no matter the weather. The durable upper offers a wide range of protection to help you get the maximum from your footwear. The GORE-TEX membrane supplies a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability for dry, comfortable feet. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, keeping sweat to a minimum and you cool and comfy. A textile lining encases each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The stitch-free construction prevents irritation or chafing from occurring, supplying feet with a smooth, glove-like fit and feel. The Sensifit system cradles the foot, providing a precise and secure fit, whilst the gusseted tongue sits comfortably against the skin and prevents debris from entering inside the boot. A protective heel cap provides rearfoot stability, as well as a protective rubber toe cap for protection from loose or sharp rocks. A durable protective mudguard protects the medial and lateral sides of your foot for protection on changing terrain. The quickLACE system locks down the midfoot and allows you to quickly and easily adjust the fit of the shoes, whilst a lace pocket provides easy storage to keep them out of the way.

EnergyCell Midsole

Within the midsole, the X Ultra 360 GORE-TEX have an EnergyCell compound, a multi-functional midsole to provide both comfort and protection, thanks to its dual-density EVA. The EVA is extremely firm, to absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. In addition to this, between the outsole and the midsole, there is an advancedChassis. This targets articulations on the outer foot to optimise stability without limiting your mobility while also keeping the front of the boot flexible for a more fluid ride. A moulded OrthoLite sockliner is extremely soft and comfortable and works to wick away moisture, keeping the feet cool and dry at all times.

All-Terrain Contagrip Outsole

For outstanding grip and traction across a variety of surfaces, the shoes utilise an All-Terrain Contagrip Outsole. This durable compound works to grip the surface below, whether it's wet and slippery or rocky terrain; the outsole will keep you stable and provide you with optimal control underfoot. Deep lugs adorn the outsole and provide you with optimum grip and traction, anchoring you in place. This will also encourage a comfortable push-off and a solid landing base, so you can feel confident in your strides.
