The North Face Freedom Insulated Jacket
Laidback style combined with practical details is a given with the Freedom Insulated Jacket. Made using DryVent two-layer shell fabric technology, it will keep you dry and sweat-free as you bolt it up and down the slopes.
Constructed using a waterproof, breathable, seam-sealed DryVent 2L shell with a non-PFC DWR finish, the Freedom jacket will keep you protected no matter what weather is thrown at it. The DryVent seam-sealed shell prevents water and harsh winds from penetrating the fabric, but also allows air to circulate, ensuring you remain dry and cool throughout your outdoor adventure. Heatseeker synthetic insulation also resides in the Freedom jacket and is made with hollow-core fibres to ensure you remain warm at all times, whilst remaining durable. A covered, reverse-coil centre front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off and can also be used to control ventilation, while the adjustable hook-and-loop cuff tabs ensure a close finish and help to trap heat. The attached helmet-compatible hood with a hidden cord-lock adjustment system provides additional protection from the elements, while the mesh-lined underarm vents help to increase ventilation to regulate temperature. Covered, secure-zip hand pockets and a chest pocket with an exposed YKK AquaGuard zip and cord routing offer ample space to store your essential items, while a large internal drop-in mesh pocket provides additional storage space. A secure-zip wrist pocket features a goggle wipe to help keep them clear, and a snap-down powder skirt with gripper elastic prevents snow from getting in the jacket. A ticket-attachment loop at the front-right hem enables you to attach a lift ticket/ badge, and completing the jacket is an internal hem cinch-cord with a two-point adjustment, which exits into the hand pockets, allowing you to alter the fit of the jacket to a more personal one.
