The SONICBLAST shoe offers a lightweight and responsive ride that makes it functional for tempo runs and your daily training. The midsole features a two-layered foam with FF BLAST MAX and FF TURBO² cushioning to help create a lightweight, bouncy, and advanced cushioning running experience. Additionally, an ASTROPLATE propulsion mechanism is centred in the foam. This helps propel your momentum forward, creating a faster feel underfoot.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Providing you with enhanced levels of breathability and comfort, the ASICS SONICBLAST features an engineered mesh upper. The material will allow a steady flow of air in and out of the shoes, which will provide constant breathability and ventilation, and help regulate temperature to keep you going for longer in comfort. This lightweight, breathable mesh material helps to reduce the need for additional overlays, minimising bulk. Completing the upper, a traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot to provide a secure fit and feel that can be easily adjusted and customised to suit you.
This colourway is part of the Tokyo collection, inspired by the old and new ages of Tokyo. Purple hues are reminiscent of the wisteria flowers and their welcoming nature. The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.
