ASICS SONICBLAST Men's Running Shoes

The SONICBLAST shoe offers a lightweight and responsive ride that makes it functional for tempo runs and your daily training.​ The midsole features a two-layered foam with FF BLAST MAX and FF TURBO² cushioning to help create a lightweight, bouncy, and advanced cushioning running experience. Additionally, an ASTROPLATE propulsion mechanism is centred in the foam. This helps propel your momentum forward, creating a faster feel underfoot.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Providing you with enhanced levels of breathability and comfort, the ASICS SONICBLAST features an engineered mesh upper. The material allows a steady flow of air in and out of the shoes, providing constant breathability and ventilation that helps regulate temperature and keeps you going for longer. This lightweight, breathable mesh material helps to reduce the need for additional overlays, minimising bulk. Completing the upper, a traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot to provide a secure fit and feel that can be easily adjusted and customised to suit you.

The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.

FF BLAST MAX and FF TURBO² Midsole

Utilising two-layer foam in the midsole, the SONICBLAST features FF BLAST MAX and FF TURBO² cushioning designed to ensure lightweight rebound and advanced cushioning comfort underfoot. FF BLAST MAX is one of ASICS' most energetic midsole foams. It is complemented with cloud-like softness and responsive energy-return to keep you feeling fresher for longer and able to go the distance during tempo runs and daily training sessions. This has been combined with FF TURBO² cushioning, the pinnacle FF TURBO foam, an exceptionally bouncy and energetic midsole material with added resilience. This midsole foam provides the ultimate cushioning and rebound for your run. The midsole features ASTROPLATE technology, which propels you forward and encourages you to go faster with each stride.

ASICSGRIP Rubber Outsole

Outstanding grip and traction are guaranteed with the ASICSGRIP outsole. Keeping you anchored to the ground beneath you will improve efficiency, making sure that every second counts. The rubber can form a solid grip on surfaces beneath you for complete control in all conditions and on a variety of terrain. Additionally, the rubber is extremely tough and abrasion-resistant, maintaining its shape and definition over a long period. The design of the outsole will also provide further traction, as it will dig in to provide further control.
