The best just got better. The Speedex Ultras were created with insights from pro fighters. Lightweight and airy, the mesh upper has a perforated EVA inner layer to keep you comfortable through intense workouts. Foam pods keep your heel locked in, so you're stable through every punch, duck and weave. Underneath, the Torsion System supports rotational movement so you'll never be caught off-guard.
Mesh Upper
The shoe is made to be tightly fitting, giving a comfortable, glove-like fit. Constructed with a reinforced mesh upper, the shoe uses stability ripples in the forefoot for better balance and control, whilst stability straps around the ankle and rearfoot allow you to take training up a notch without losing grip and control. The mesh keeps your feet cool and fresh in the ring, allowing a constant air supply, preventing overheating. Perforated EVA is also included in the inner layer to increase comfort, and a textile lining also provides a soft feel against the skin. The shoes are finished with an easy-to-use lace closure system.
Made with a series of recycled materials, this upper features at least 50% recycled content. This product represents just one of adidas' solutions to help end plastic waste.
EVA Midsole
The shoe's midsole is made with EVA, which offers optimal comfort and responsiveness, allowing you to train and fight longer and more effectively. The midfoot is firm, offering stability and support. A 3D heel cage, combined with foam pods, keeps your feet comfortable and your heel locked in, providing you with optimised comfort and control when competing. Despite this, the shoes still provide you with a lightweight, floaty feel.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Developed using a rubber outsole, the Speedex Ultra ensures improved stability and grip. The grippy rubber outsole is designed to provide maximum traction, ensuring your feet remain stable on all surfaces. The flat rubber outsole keeps your foot sturdy and flat for a smooth push-through, offering stronger, explosive movements by keeping you level and connected to the floor. adidas' Torsion System technology has been added to the Speedex Ultra, allowing the forefoot and rearfoot to move independently, resulting in better surface adaptation.
