Synthetic and Textile Upper

Designed to build a connection between comfort and fit, the Evo SL upper is made of highly breathable and lightweight material to inspire fast. The fabrication ensures a sock-like fit, providing feet with exceptional air flow. Perforations within the upper assist in releasing warm air to keep you feeling fresh through every mile. A fabric lining has been added to maintain maximised comfort, by adding a softer material, irritation is minimised from ruining your run. A padded collar has been added for extra support and padding around the ankles, while a flat laying tongue reduces the risk of chafing and rubbing. Completing the upper is the traditional lacing system to lock down the midfoot for added confidence moving forward.

Lightstrike Pro Midsole

adidas' signature Lightstrike Pro technology has been embedded into the Adizero Evo SL. An even lighter component than the previous iteration. This comfortable and super lightweight midsole foam offers resilient cushioning, designed to limit energy loss. As your foot strikes down on hard surfaces, the foam works to effectively absorb the impact underfoot within stride, before providing a huge bounce-back effect of kinetic energy that helps propel you forward as you leap into your next step. This also helps protect your joints from injury as shock is soaked up by this premium foam. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PBs.

Durable and Continental Rubber Outsole

Manufactured from durable rubber, the outsole completes the Adizero Evo SL with a superior grip and a smooth transition through the gait cycle. With Continental rubber on the forefoot of the Evo SL, you can expect supreme grip and traction over both dry and rain-slicked surfaces. Continental rubber also proves great for strong toe-offs, making sure no moment is missed. The remaining of the outsole is made up of durable rubber, helping to keep the shoe lightweight while still offering great traction and support underfoot.
