Flexible Upper
The upper of the Gel-Task 4 is designed for comfort, support, and flexibility, ensuring your feet stay fresh on the court. It features breathable mesh panelling in high-heat areas, allowing continuous airflow to keep your feet cool and prevent overheating. To protect your feet from knocks and bumps during intense competition, the highly durable upper incorporates a wrap-up construction across the forefoot, providing stable support for multi-directional movements. Further protection and increased durability come from synthetic leather overlays, including toe reinforcements. Finally, a traditional lacing system ensures a secure, locked-in fit, preventing any in-shoe slipping.
GEL Midsole
To keep feet comfortable and provide a soft level of cushioning underfoot, the shoes utilise ASICS' iconic GEL technology through the midsole. This comfortable cushioning has shock-absorbing properties to help prevent discomfort or injury when making abrupt stops or striking down on hard or unforgiving surfaces, therefore keeping feet comfortable for longer. The indoor court shoes cushion your landing, to keep you focused on each twist and turn when competing. Additionally, a sockliner has been added to provide in-step comfort from the moment you put them on until you take them off.
The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.
