Breathable Mesh Upper

Upgraded from their predecessors, the Speedgoat 5's have a new and improved breathable mesh upper. This time around the Hoka Speedgoat employs mesh materials that are designed using recycled content in creating a double-jacquard mesh construction, for an extremely durable garment that will ensure you stay at an optimum temperature and comfort. Lightweight and breathable, the mesh allows cool air to flow through the shoe removing uncomfortable heat build-up and regulating internal temperature to create a healthy environment where feet can thrive in. The fabrication hugs the foot offering lightweight support whilst strategically placed overlays across the midfoot help to lock the foot down in the shoe keeping you feeling secure and locked in for a stable and supportive fit. Ensuring much-needed support, the overlays also increase durability by protecting both the shoe and the foot from possible damage that may be encountered along the trail. Alongside this, the shoes have an exceptionally protective toe rand for shielding against hard knocks and bumps, and a gusseted tongue has been added to the upper to provide next-to-skin comfort. A lightweight foam has been used within the midsole of the Hoka Speedgoat 5 Trail Running Shoes to ensure a cushioned and responsive ride. The lightweight foam is also highly responsive as it works to adapt to the ground beneath you and works to propel you forward as you move throughout the gait cycle.
