Designed to keep you comfortable and warm on outdoor adventures, the Jack Wolfskin The Cook Parka Jacket is the perfect winter essential. Constructed using Jack Wolfskin's signature Stormlock Technology, the Cook Parka works hard to resist wind whilst remaining highly breathable. The windproof fabrication works to block out cold winds so you can remain warm and comfortable when temperatures drop. As well as this, the fabrication is also highly breathable meaning it allows moisture vapor to escape. The ventilated fabric allows cool air to flow throughout the garment whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. By allowing moisture vapor to escape, the Stormlock fabrication allows the jacket to maintain its full thermal performance. As well as this, Stormlock Taslan has been used on the shoulders and arms to ensure added durability and protection. The durable fabric resists wear and tear whilst the snow skirt prevents snow or wind ingress from below. Within the jacket, 90/10 goose down at 700 fill keeps you warm in extreme conditions. The Down provides maximum loft to keep you warm and snug. Down insulation has an advanced treatment applied that resists heat robbing moisture and retains its loft even in damp conditions, making it perfect for wet weather adventures. The 700-fill down insulation offers optimal warmth-to-weight ratio and compressibility. Down provides more insulation per ounce than any other material, making it the optimal insulator. 700 fill power is on the higher end of the downrating scale, so you can rely on it providing great warmth and comfort in adverse conditions.

Ensuring added warmth is the Microguard Ecosphere Silver insulation that has been used within the jacket. The synthetic insulation traps escaping heat within its fibers to ensure increased warmth when the mercury drops. The warming fabrication reflects body heat for instant warmth on cold days. To ensure added protection on cold winter days, the detachable hood can be used to shield the face in harsh weather. The hood features an adjustable volume and field of vision to ensure a close and comfortable fit that won't affect your vision. The front of the jacket has a full zip, which can easily be adjusted to allow more air to enter and exit the jacket should you get too warm. Alternatively, you can pull the zip up to retain heat even more efficiently. Snug-fitting elasticated cuffs offer a comfortable fit whilst an adjustable hem allows you to cinch down the fit. Lastly, multiple pockets allow you to store all your essential items. Two hand pockets are perfect for keeping you warm whilst two chest pockets are ideal for small essentials. An inner pocket is perfect for valuables such as your phone.
