Kahtoola EXOspikes Crampons
Built for winter running and hiking across a variety of surfaces, the EXOspikes crampons deliver confident performance on snow-packed trails, icy roads, and everything in between.
Crafted with ice and hard snow surfaces in mind, the EXOspikes Crampons feature an ergonomically shaped TPE harness with 12 tungsten carbide spikes that measure 7.4mm. The harness accommodates the majority of trail and hiking footwear and features patented reinforced eyelets for increased durability. Eight spikes feature on the forefoot, and four are located on the heel to ensure exceptional grip on all surfaces and conditions. The spikes have been integrated into a tough traction matrix that's abrasion-resistant, lightweight and adapts to uneven terrain. The spikes can withstand prolonged use on mixed terrain and roads and deliver instant traction on ice. An integrated toe bail keeps the toe from pushing through the front of the harness for added security, and lastly, a raised heel tab provides a secure grip on the harness for easy on and off in frozen winter conditions with cold or gloved hands.
