Premium Leather Upper

Developed to provide durability and breathability, the Leiki has been constructed using a waterproof premium leather and performance mesh upper. The leather materials protect feet from debris and sharp objects, minimising the risk of wear and tear - and the leather is produced more sustainably and manufactured in Leather Working Group certified tanneries, which use processes to reduce the chemicals used and to reduce water usage. As well as this, KEEN.DRY technology is also incorporated into the upper to provide resistance against sweat and moisture which is inevitable during exercise. The breathable membrane keeps your feet cool, dry and comfortable as it wicks away the sweat and moisture so you can focus on your performance without discomfort or distraction. The waterproof nature of KEEN.DRY keeps you protected when the weather takes a turn for the worst. The boots have a mid-cut design to provide you with increased ankle support whilst out in the hills or mountains whilst a contoured fit provides a secure hold, reducing in-shoe slippage. Eco Anti-Odour technology has been integrated for fresh-feeling feet naturally. A traditional lacing system finishes the upper, locking in the fit.

EVA Midsole

Constructed using a lightweight EVA midsole, the Zionic provides comfortable cushioning that keeps you going all day long. The EVA provides significant cushioning and comfort to help improve the level of your performance so you can stay at your optimum level, for longer. Holding excellent cushioning abilities, the midsole absorbs shocks as you move throughout the gait cycle providing resilient cushioning and reducing the risks of potential injury. The midsole has a contoured arch for midfoot support. A removable Luftcell insole also features within the midsole to provide increased comfort and support as soon as you step into the boots. The insole sits comfortably under the foot and can be easily removed if you'd prefer not to use it. Completing the midsole is an internal stability shank, delivering lightweight support and reducing the chance of ankle rolling or injury by providing more stability to the foot on uneven terrain.

KEEN.ALL-TERRAIN Outsole

Providing ultimate grip on multiple surfaces the Leiki features a KEEN.ALL-TERRAIN outsole. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. It is also highly durable meaning no matter what you throw at it, the boot will perform walk after walk. This high-traction rubber promotes grip on multiple surfaces while delivering the durability you need to go the distance. Completing the outsole are multi-directional lugs which provide superior traction on tough terrain. The lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place, this helps when braking and changing direction. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base to push off from when taking a stride.
