The Wave Inspire 20 is Mizuno's iconic supportive running shoe for everyday running. This version features super soft Enerzy cushioning to absorb shock and give you energy return with each stride, powering your momentum.

Stretch Woven Upper

Constructed using a stretch woven upper, the Wave Inspire 20 provides optimal breathability and comfort. Ensuring a constant supply of airflow, the upper allows cool air to circulate the shoe whilst also removing unwanted warm air to help regulate temperature so you remain comfortable when clocking up the miles. The Wave Inspire is tailored to fit like a glove, it works to adapt to the gait cycle allowing for a more personalised, seamless fit as you strive for new PBs. A traditional lacing system locks the midfoot down to prevent excessive movement and makes it easy to secure a comfortable fit. As well as this, a soft and padded tongue and ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing.

Mizuno ENERZY Midsole

Multiple technologies reside in the midsole to provide enhanced comfort and shock absorption. The main technology used in the midsole is the Mizuno ENERZY, which is soft and responsive, ensuring it provides soft and propulsive cushioning. Mizuno ENERZY has been developed to enhance performance capacity and guarantee that athletes retain more energy they put in, all whilst providing an overall more comfortable feeling. The second technology used is the Mizuno Wave Technology which not only enhances the in-shoe cushioning but also, increases stability. The Wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. Completing the midsole is a Mizuno wave which has been designed to correct over-pronation and enable softer movements.

X10 Rubber Outsole

Offering excellent traction and grip, the Wave Inspire uses an X10 rubber outsole. The rubber outsole provides superb traction on the pitch for quick and explosive movements whilst also increasing overall durability so you can continue with complete confidence. X10 allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and provides more traction during heel strike so you'll always feel in complete control. SmoothRide Technology also resides in the outsole to provide a fluid, rocking-chair-like transition. As the foot hits the ground, SmoothRide kicks in to help minimise the rapid acceleration and deceleration during the gait cycle, creating the smoothest ride possible.
