Mizuno Wave Inspire 21 Women's Running Shoes

Hit the ground running in the Wave Inspire 21, which has been designed for comfort and performance. The top midsole is composed of MIZUNO ENERZY, and the bottom midsole is made from MIZUNO ENERZY NXT, and this combination results in comfortable heel landings and smooth weight transfers while running.

AIRMesh Upper

The upper of the Wave Inspire 21 has been engineered using AIRmesh, which is ultra-lightweight and allows for a high level of breathability and comfort with a sleek design and natural fit whilst helping to reduce weight. The upper works to allow air to flow in and out of the shoe, keeping the feet feeling cool even during intense activity. The materials allow vapour from sweat to escape, which will keep your feet feeling dry and fresh. A soft, padded tongue has been carefully designed to provide a comfortable and snug fit whilst reducing rubbing. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that anchors the shoe to the foot securely for increased stability and control.

Mizuno Enerzy Nxt Midsole

Several technologies reside in the midsole to provide enhanced comfort and shock absorption. The top layer utilises Mizuno ENERZY, which is soft and responsive, offering soft and propulsive cushioning. Mizuno ENERZY has been developed to enhance performance capacity while providing a more comfortable feeling. The bottom layer of the midsole features Mizuno ENERZY NXT, which is ultra soft, responsive and assists in the next level of performance. This technology is lighter than previous Enerzy midsoles and is found in the heel wedge to give incredible energy return while offering a soft and bouncy sensation. Also residing in the midsole is a Mizuno Wave Plate, which prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to correct overpronation and guide the foot forward to enable softer movements. Changing the inside and outside shapes helps stop the foot arch from collapsing and offers high stability. The anatomical plate shape follows the shape of the foot for smooth weight transfer from ground contact to kick off. Atop the midsole, a Premium Insock provides step-in comfort and is removable should you wish.

X10 Rubber Outsole

The outsole of the Wave Inspire has been made using X10, a durable Carbon rubber which allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and supplements traction at the heel. This helps to lessen the impact placed on the knees and joints, allowing for a more comfortable ride as well as optimising gait efficiency. The outsole also ensures maximum grip and traction for a firm, assured footing so you can run with confidence and push yourself to the limit, time and time again.
