Smooth Stretch Woven Upper

Constructed using a Smooth Stretch Woven upper, the Wave Skyrise ensures a sock-like feel, providing a secure fit so your feet remain stable and comfortable. It maintains correct foot position so you can be confident in your strides. The upper enables cool air to circulate the shoe, removing unwanted warm air to help regulate temperature so you remain comfortable when clocking up the miles. The shoes have a soft, padded collar that wraps around your ankle, increasing comfort and reducing the risk of irritation caused by rubbing. Finishing the upper is a traditional lacing system to provide you with a secure, locked-in fit, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring.

Mizuno Enerzy NXT Midsole

Multiple technologies feature in the midsole to enhance comfort and shock absorption. The top layer utilises Mizuno Enerzy NXT, which is ultra soft, responsive and assists in the next level of performance. This technology is lighter than previous Enerzy midsoles and gives incredible energy return while offering a soft and bouncy sensation. The bottom layer of the midsole features Mizuno Enerzy, a soft and responsive compound, offering propulsive cushioning. Mizuno Enerzy has been developed to enhance performance capacity while providing a more comfortable feeling. Completing the midsole is Mizuno Wave technology, which helps guide the foot forward to enable softer movements. Atop this, a Premium Insock increases comfort and cushioning and is removable should you choose.

X10 Rubber Outsole

The outsole of the Wave Skyrise has been made using X10, a durable Carbon rubber for longer wear in high-impact areas and supplements traction at the heel. This helps lessen the impact on the knees and joints, allowing for a more comfortable ride while optimising gait efficiency.
