The Tupilak Pants are Mountain Equipment's dedicated climbing and mountaineering GORE-TEX PRO legwear; they're arguably the finest available for committing routes in the most severe weather.

These pants are ready to take you to the peak. The three-layer GORE-TEX Pro 80D fabric with an ePE membrane provides durability and breathable wind and waterproofing to keep you moving in adverse weather, and a PFAS-free DWR coating further keeps off any rain. Taped seams feature throughout the construction to prevent water entry, while the highly durable and abrasion-resistant fabric stands up to the rigours of the most difficult trails, whilst enabling a full range of movement. The alpine fit with articulated knees allows for a wide range of movement without any restrictions holding you back, and has space to wear layers underneath. The full-length two-way YKK AquaGuard side zips assist in putting the pants on and off, even when wearing your hiking footwear, and are easily accessible when wearing a harness. Fully adjustable braces aid fit and reduce bulk around the waist, while the bonded overlays protect against damage from racked ice screws and climbing gear. The reinforced kick strips on the inside leg protect against abrasion and crampon points, and zip-out internal gaiters integrate with mountain boots to keep snow and dirt out, and can be removed when not required. Completing the pants are bonded hems for added durability.
