Mountain Equipment Guide Waterproof Mitts
With a fully waterproof DRILITE insert, pile lining and PrimaLoft overlays, the Guide mitt is the ideal go-anywhere mitt, whether used on a Himalayan trekking peak or a classic mountaineering day. The water-resistant Goatskin leather palm provides the durability required of a workhorse mountain staple.
The Mountain Equipment Guide Mitts are warm and waterproof, protecting your hands on the coldest of days. Made with 160D Nylon Oxford outer fabric, the mitts are highly durable. The goatskin leather palm ensures durability for more technical mountain use. A DRILITE insert makes the mitts waterproof and breathable, allowing vapour and built-up heat to escape whilst stopping water from entering, to provide a fresh, dry, comfortable wearing experience. Inside the mitts, Mountain Equipment has used two layers of PrimaLoft Gold insulation on the back of the hand and a single layer on the thumb. Fibre pile lining throughout the hand is also included to provide warmth on those cold days on the hills. The mitts have a reversed suede nose wipe and are finished with a single-handed drawcord closure that seals out the elements and carabiner carry loops with removable wrist tethers.
