Insulation doesn't get much lower in weight or bulk than this. Exceptionally light, the Featherlite Down Jacket is highly versatile for year-round mountain activities. Wear as a mid-layer when moving quickly in really cold conditions or as an outer insulation on cool evening camps. Packing down to the size of a large orange, it will hardly be noticed when stowed in your backpack, whilst the Pertex Quantum outer fabric allows the down to loft to its capacity on demand.

The Montane Featherlite Down Jacket is equipped with Pertex Quantum which uses incredibly fine yarns, precisely woven to provide a very lightweight yet strong and durable fabric. Its softness allows the down and synthetic insulation to fully loft. The Pertex Quantum provides incredible insulation and windproof qualities. The jacket is fitted with a Ripstop fabric which is woven using a special reinforcing technique that makes them resistant to tearing and ripping and also has a DWR (durable water repellent) coating which makes the jacket water-resistant. With a Peaq Down lining, it provides ultimate next-to-skin comfort, breathability and fast drying properties. The premium down inside this product has been certified through the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) to ensure that it is the most responsibly sourced down available. The jacket has technical tailoring around the arms to prevent arm lift raising the lower hem whilst reaching high. This is particularly greater when you need to maintain maximum coverage from the elements when on steep or tricky terrain that is exposed. The hood on the jacket has various different features to keep you feeling comfortable and warm during cold weather conditions, such as the adjustable face aperture with three point adjustment and a fully adjustable down-filled technical hood designed to fit comfortably over a climbing helmet. Additionally, the hood is equipped with a foam reinforced hood peak for stability and an internal elastic loop and hook on the rear head which allows it to be rolled down and stowed away whilst not in use during windy conditions. Fitted with a full length YKK reverse coil front zip, with an internal storm flap behind the centre front zip for increased weather protection. For increased comfort, the rollover chinguard is lined with a brushed fine microfleece which provides next-to-skin comfort to the mouth and chin.

Including a number of pockets, such as two hand-warmer pockets, a chest pocket for handy essentials in the mountains and an internal right-hand side drop pocket for secure storage.
