The Apex 8000 utilises PERTEX QUANTUM PRO nylon mini ripstop outer, which is an extremely windproof, durable and water-resistant material. With a combination of 30D ripstop alongside 50D ripstop reinforcements in high-wear areas, this truly durable material ensures optimum shielding from the constantly shifting conditions. This unique, tightly woven yarn traps warm air inside the jacket for warmth and improves the insulation's efficiency. 500g of 90/10 850-fill ExpeDRY goose down works with 60g/m2 Primaloft Gold Insulation with Cros Core technology on the back and shoulders, therefore optimising warmth during cold, wintry weather. Fast drying, super warm and chemical-free, the ExpeDRY Goose Down uses non-toxic gold particles to ensure you remain confident and cosy in all mountaineering adventures. Working with these materials, the jacket features a boxwall construction to optimise thermal efficiency, making windchill and distracting weather a thing of the past.

Allowing flexible movement, the arm articulation stops you from struggling to get to those high-reach places, and a long cut design makes a perfect match for salopettes or legwear. Dump heat and cool down when things get tough. The warm, winter jacket has two-way pit zips, and a full-length zip. Integrated is a high collar to accommodate an oxygen mask, alongside an insulated neck baffle for extra warmth. The helmet-compatible hood has a three-point adjustment to ensure protection in poor, changing weather and keep you safe when climbing. An internal waist adjustment ensures you can make alterations and helps minimise heat loss. Stretch fabric, internal mitts and integral thumb loops keep your hands from getting chilly, whilst external glove and mitt forarm attachment points ensure extra space for more protection.
