Optimising comfort, warmth and protection in various cold weather explorations, the Apex 8000 Salopettes utilise PERTEX QUANTUM PRO nylon mini ripstop outer. This is an extremely windproof, durable and water-resistant material, and by using a combination of 30D ripstop alongside 50D ripstop reinforcements in high-wear areas, this truly durable material ensures shielding in constantly shifting conditions. This unique, tightly woven yarn traps warm air inside the jacket for warmth and improves the insulation's efficiency. 300g of 90/10 850-fill ExpeDRY goose down provides warmth when travelling in cold, wintry weather. Fast drying, super warm and chemical-free, the ExpeDRY Goose Down uses non-toxic gold particles to ensure you remain confident and cosy in all mountaineering adventures. Working with these materials, the bottoms feature a boxwall construction to optimise thermal efficiency, making wind chill and distracting weather a thing of the past.

For extra coverage and supplying you with a pair of pants that stand up against chilly, treacherous weather, the Salopettes feature fixed braces with a hook and loop adjustability and silicon grippers. The high stretch bib sits comfortably and allows you to get the perfect fit. A zipped front pocket keeps your belongings and has an electronics clip for keeping stuff safe. Durable three-way YKK AquaGuard side zips with insulated internal storm flaps and press snaps prevent snow ingress, whilst also quickly dumping excess heat when things become intense. The drop seat also prepares you for warm periods by allowing you to ventilate from the back. The adjustable hem ensures an optimum fit over a variety of footwear.
