As well as this, the fabric is also highly durable giving you peace of mind on tough trails. The fabric resists abrasion therefore reducing the risks of tearing. Super compressible and extremely lightweight, Mountain Hardwear Absolute Zero Parka is insulated using Q-Shield Down 800-fill for maximum loft to keep you warm and snug. Q-Shield Down 800-fill has an advanced treatment applied that resists heat robbing moisture and retains its loft even in damp conditions, making it perfect for wet weather adventures. The 800-fill down insulation which offers optimal warmth-to-weight ratio and compressibility. Down provides more insulation per ounce than any other material, making it the optimal insulator. 800 fill power is on the higher end of the downrating scale, so you can rely on it providing great warmth and comfort in adverse conditions.

A low profile, insulated fixed hood provides extra protection against the elements ensuring the wind and the rain are firmly locked out, whilst a one-handed drawcord allows for a customised fit enabling you to pull the hood in tightly when the weather begins to get really testing. A full zip allows you to control the temperature as you go. The zip can be worn down to release an intolerable heat build-up or, it can be worn up to seal in escaping heat. As well as this, one-handed hem drawcord allows you to cinch down the fit whilst soft, stretchy internal cuff seal in heat for added warmth in harsh conditions. Lastly, zipped handwarmer pockets provide ample storage space for your essential items.
