Engineered Mesh Upper

Offering maximum ventilation, the Ultra Glide 3 features an engineered mesh for a comfortable wearing experience. The breathable upper provides feet with a constant supply of airflow and keeps you feeling cool and comfortable. Perforations enable cool, refreshing air to circulate whilst at the same time removing unwanted warm air to help regulate temperature. The soft, padded collar and tongue sit close to the foot to help prevent irritation and chafing, further increasing comfort levels. Also residing in the upper is EndoFit technology, which is an internal fit sleeve designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places and provide a precise fit. Finishing the upper is a Quicklace system that helps to lock down the midfoot to prevent in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free run.

The upper is made with 50% recycled materials to reduce waste.

optiFOAM Midsole

Balancing soft, cushioned comfort with a responsive design, the Ultra Glide 3 features an optiFOAM midsole. The lightweight foam provides long-lasting in-shoe comfort, ensuring a soft, cushioned landing when running across constantly changing, rugged trails and rough terrain, while increasing energy return and pushing you towards the finish line. Its shock-absorbing properties help minimise the risk of injury or discomfort when striking down on tough, uneven surfaces. Assisting you further, the rocker geometry of the trail shoes provides forward propulsion, promoting a more natural gait cycle for bouncy strides on tricky trails.

All-Terrain Contagrip Outsole

Crafted with All-Terrain Contagrip, the outsole perfectly balances geometry with rubber to deliver confident running on a wide range of surfaces. The Contagrip provides outstanding traction on wet, dry, hard, and loose surfaces, giving you stability whilst on the trail. The outsole can form a solid grip between the shoe and the terrain. The shoes feature a wavy outsole geometry called Relieve Sphere, which is specifically designed to diffuse pressure and to break down repeated underfoot impact for enhanced, durable comfort. When you are running on wet and muddy ground, the shoe's deep chevron lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction. The rubber construction of the outsole provides the shoes with durability, helping to reduce wear in high-wear areas of the sole.
