Welded Textile Upper

Constructed from a welded textile upper, the Salomon X Ultra 360 GORE-TEX keep water at bay so you can walk with confidence no matter the weather. The durable upper offers a wide range of protection to help you get the maximum from your footwear. The GORE-TEX membrane supplies a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability for dry, comfortable feet. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling. GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, keeping sweat to a minimum and you cool and comfy. A textile lining encases each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The stitch-free construction prevents irritation or chafing, supplying feet with a smooth, glove-like fit and feel. The Sensifit system cradles the foot, providing a precise and secure fit, whilst the gusseted tongue sits comfortably against the skin and prevents debris from entering inside the boot. A protective heel cap provides rearfoot stability, and a protective rubber toe cap protects from loose or sharp rocks. A durable protective mudguard enhances protection to the medial and lateral sides of your foot on changing terrain. The traditional lacing system locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement. The upper features up to 50% recycled materials, making the X Ultra 360 a more conscious option.

EnergyCell Midsole

Within the midsole, the boot has injected and compressed EVA, which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole provides both comfort and protection, thanks to the dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, absorbs shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, giving you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which makes every step feel comfortable. Between the outsole and the midsole, there is an Advanced Chassis. This targets articulations on the outer foot to optimise stability without limiting your mobility while also keeping the front of the boot flexible for a more fluid ride. A moulded OrthoLite sockliner is extremely soft and comfortable, wicking away moisture, keeping the feet cool and dry at all times.

Contagrip Outsole

The X Ultra 360 GORE-TEX features a Contagrip outsole, providing unique traction technology and an all-terrain grip. All-Terrain Contagrip is made for the widest variety of surfaces, balancing both the geometry and rubber compound to deliver confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces, offering long-term durability. The outsole adapts to the terrain, even when it's wet or slippery, giving you more control, especially on descents. When moving on wet and muddy ground, the boot's deep chevron lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base from which you can push off when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking or changing direction.
