Breathable Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper of the Jazz 20 Running Shoes are constructed of a breathable engineered mesh upper. the upper increases airflow by allowing air to continuously permeate the entire upper, this creates a perfect climate for the feet whilst running. Whilst the mesh sucks in cool, fresh air at the same time it pushes out hot, muggy air ensuring your feet stay cool, dry and comfortable.

The upper also features minimal seams and heat melted overlays, these combined together provide unrivalled comfort, eliminating the chances of chafing and discomfort. The heat melted overlays work also closely with the traditional lacing system to help provide structural integrity and a locked-in fit. In addition, padded tongue, heel and collar all work endlessly to ensure comfort is number one when running in the Jazz 20, placed in the places where you would appreciate it most.

SSL (Saucony SuperLite) midsole

The midsole of the Jazz 20 is constructed using an SSL (Saucony SuperLite) midsole unit. The SSL is Saucony's most advanced EVA blend that maximises rebound and durability while minimising weight. Additionally, an SRC landing zone is added to the heel to provide comfort and extreme shock absorbing properties during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle.

This plush, propriety construction means that resilient cushioning is brought closer to the foot and, because the force is distributed over a larger surface area, peak pressures are lowered on each stride. The midsole absorbs shock and impact forces but harnesses the energy created then transfers it to the forefoot area where on toe-off it pushes you off into your next step, providing superb energy return.

Tri-Flex Outsole

A TRI-FLEX outsole completes the Jazz 20. Its unique tread design cooperates with the midsole to increase force dispersion over a greater surface area, but it also delivers an optimal blend of flexibility and traction. A combination of durable and soft, sticky rubber compounds make up the TRI-FLEX; XT-900 brings the longevity, splashed on the heel and forefoot, while IBR+ reinforces the Jazz's responsive nature. It's 33% lighter and three times more absorbing than standard blown rubber.
