Enginnered Mesh Upper

The Speed Endorphin 5 uses a brand-new engineered mesh upper, lighter and more durable than the previous version. The newly designed upper uses larger perforations in the mesh to increase airflow, allowing cooler air into the shoe while removing built-up heat, keeping feet cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Built with comfort in mind so you can enjoy it every day, Saucony has used its FORMFIT technology to surround the foot in a made-for-me feel, which accommodates the feet, giving them a feeling like these shoes were made specifically for you. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

PWRRUN PB Foam Midsole

Saucony's ultralight and springy PWRRUN PB foam has been used for the Endorphin Speed 5 midsole. The foam will provide a lightweight and bouncy feel, cushioning your feet with every step so you stay comfortable throughout your run. The midsole provides a soft, springy, but stable base to push off as you move through the gait cycle, guiding you into your next step effortlessly. The foam absorbs impacts as you hit unforgiving, hard surfaces, protecting your joints and reducing the risk of injury. Working alongside PWRRUN PB is a nylon plate, ensuring powerful transitions. Created with a wing design, this provides torsional rigidity while maintaining flexibility in the forefoot, making for a sure-footed, snappy ride. Saucony's Speedroll rocker technology also features, helping to propel you forward and create a feeling of continuous momentum so you can run faster, not harder. The combination of technologies helps improve your running efficiency through the gait cycle while propelling you forward, assisting you in hitting a new PB. Improving underfoot cushioning, the shoes feature an SRS sockliner offering instant comfort when you put the shoes on.

XT-900 Outsole

Developed to be hardwearing and grippy, the outsole of the Endorphin Speed has been constructed using XT-900. Offering exceptional traction and durability on various surfaces, this premium outsole will give you the confidence to run no matter the weather. Saucony has increased the amount of rubber coverage in the heel, extending further up the shoe and to the edges for added durability. This also helps increase surface area to provide a strong connection with the ground and a firm base to push off, making your gait cycle more efficient. Full-length longitudinal grooves have been added to increase flexibility. This will provide a more natural feel and smoother transitions throughout your gait cycle.
