Reinforced Matryx Upper
The upper of the Offtrail TR GORE-TEX has been designed for traversing rough terrain. It features an overlasted Matryx forefoot with Kevlar reinforcements for added stability, protection and durability out on the trail, whilst the rearfoot is constructed from a high-tenacity ripstop fabric to keep structural integrity should you snag on any branches or rocks. Featuring a GORE-TEX membrane, this version of the Offtrail provides highly breathable waterproof protection. It creates an impenetrable barrier that prevents rain and snow to keep feet feeling dry and comfortable. Not only is this barrier waterproof, but it is also windproof, preventing wind from penetrating the upper layer and reducing the effects of wind chill. Although water- and windproof, the GORE-TEX membrane remains highly breathable and durable, ensuring reliable comfort, ventilation and protection in challenging conditions. A reinforced toe cap protects from knocks and scrapes to keep the shoe and your foot shielded from damage. A traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot for a secure, comfortable fit that inspires confidence.
High-Rebound EVA Midsole
The midsole is constructed from a high rebound EVA for comfort and energy return. The EVA absorbs shock as you strike down, cushioning your foot and protecting it from aggressive force. It then utilises the power from this to spring you into your next step. This gives you a springy, effortless feel and conserves energy so you can run further, faster, with less effort.
SurfaceCTRL Outsole
Completing the Offtrail TR is a SurfaceCTRL outsole, which is a bio-based outsole rubber that helps to provide you with high levels of traction and grip on a variety of terrains, including wet and dry surfaces. Not only does the outsole work exceptionally well on a mixture of grounds, but it also provides feet with multi-directional traction. The highly durable rubber is strong enough to withstand the toughest trails and is flexible enough to adapt to different terrain, so you can have complete control. 5mm lugs bite into the ground for aggressive grip and traction on soft, muddy surfaces, great for the Great British countryside.
