adidas Terrex Eastrail 2.0 RAIN.RDY Women's Walking Shoes
Ditch your sneakers and slip into these adidas RAIN.RDY walking shoes. A waterproof upper keeps you dry on rainy days and abrasion-resistant mesh protects you from thorny trails. With its secure rubber outsole, this is an all-around hiker you can trust, so comfortable you won't even have to break them in.
Abrasion-Resistant Mesh Upper
The upper of these shoes has been crafted from an abrasion-resistant mesh material that provides unparalleled comfort and breathability. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow, promoting a healthier environment for your feet to thrive. RAIN.RDY technology also resides in the upper and provides exceptional waterproof protection to keep you dry so you can focus on tackling the tough trails ahead. This technology works alongside the mesh to offer exceptional waterproofing with superior ventilation. Synthetic overlays reinforce the shoe's protective, hiking-worthy state, increasing rigidity and defending your feet against roots, rocks and general hazards. A traditional lacing system will secure the shoes to a comfortable fit. A soft, padded tongue and ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation and improve comfort in vulnerable areas of the feet. The tongue is gusseted to prevent loose stones and debris from getting in.
Lightweight EVA Midsole
The construction of the EVA midsole within the Terrex Eastrail 2.0 RAIN.RDY is extremely lightweight; despite being lightweight, it won't compromise any cushioning or comfort. The full-length EVA platform resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, absorbing shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced will also be returned as a rebound, giving spring to your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for unpredictable trails and tough terrain. A moulded sockliner sits comfortably against the skin and provides additional underfoot comfort.
Traxion Outsole
Developed using a Traxion rubber outsole, the Terrex Eastrail 2.0 ensure a reliable, optimum grip in all directions in all conditions. Traxion rubber is highly durable and lightweight, yet still offers an unbeatable grip so you remain grounded. Multi-directional lugs will hold you in place, especially on wet and muddy ground. This will assist with takeoffs, landings and changes of direction. Extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, the rubber will stand up against abuse from hard rock faces, retaining its shape and definition to provide long-term functionality.
