The MEGABLAST is one of the bounciest ASICS trainers. It offers an energised rebound that makes it functional for various speeds and distances. The midsole features FF TURBO² cushioning to help create a lightweight, bouncy, and advanced cushioning running experience. Lastly, the ASICSGRIP outsole rubber provides advanced grip for various terrains.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Providing you with enhanced levels of breathability and comfort, the ASICS MEGABLAST features an engineered mesh upper. The material allows a steady flow of air in and out of the shoes, providing constant breathability and ventilation, and helps regulate temperature to keep you going for longer. This lightweight, breathable mesh material helps to reduce the need for additional overlays, minimising bulk, whilst its enhanced stretch and ventilation ensure comfort. Completing the upper, a traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot to provide a secure fit and feel that can be easily adjusted and customised to suit you.

The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology. At least 50% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions.

Utilising lightweight, energetic foam in the midsole, the MEGABLAST features FF TURBO² cushioning designed to ensure lightweight rebound and advanced cushioning comfort underfoot. This new foam, equipped with high bounce (more than SUPERBLAST 2), is lighter in weight to keep you light on your feet and feeling mega-bouncy, making this energised daily trainer responsive and well-rounded for various speeds and distances. FF TURBO² cushioning is the pinnacle of FF TURBO foam, an exceptionally bouncy and energetic midsole material with added resilience. This midsole foam provides the ultimate cushioning and rebound for your run. Lastly, the curved sole design helps you to conserve more energy in each step.

ASICSGRIP Rubber Outsole

Outstanding grip and traction are guaranteed with the ASICSGRIP outsole. Keeping you anchored to the ground beneath you will improve efficiency, making sure that every second counts. The rubber can form a solid grip on surfaces beneath you for complete control in all conditions and on a variety of terrain. Additionally, the rubber is extremely tough and abrasion-resistant, meaning it will maintain its shape and definition over a long period. The design of the outsole will also provide further traction, as it will dig in to provide further control.
