3D Printed Upper
Utilising a 3D printed upper, Asics have designed a highly breathable yet durable material, allowing you to bounce around the court worry free. Perforations within the fabric allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, releasing hot air and making room for cool, fresh air. Durability has not been sacrificed, as the upper protects toes from possible bumps, while increasing the life span of the shoe overall, keeping you out in play for longer. Asics have used an eyelet loop system to bring the upper together, pulling things closer for a personalised fit, this is complimented by the traditional lacing system which effectively locks down the midfoot securely for minimal slippage while performing unexpected manoeuvres round the court.
FLYTEFOAM Midsole
Providing plush cushioning, FLYTEFOAM has been used within the midsole of the Gel-Netburner Academy 10 to assist with quick movement across the court. The foam effectively absorbs the impact as you move across the floor, protecting joints from the shock, before releasing the built pressure within your following stride, helping to propel you into the correct position. The foam is also super lightweight, meaning minimal weight will be dragged along with you, keeping you motivated until the match is done.
AHARPLUS Outsole
Providing the best durability in the AHAR family, AHARPLUS keeps you stuck on the court for as long as you require. The rubber does not wear down with ease, letting you rely on the fantastic grip for longer. The outsole has flex grooves throughout it, improving the natural flex of the foot, allowing you to perfect your movements with better accuracy. To complete the outsole, Asics have added Rearfoot and Forefoot Gel pads, to further protect your joints as they absorb shock upon contact, especially useful for heel strikers.
