The upper is made with high quality, breathable nubuck leather for long-lasting durability. This soft leather is gentle against the skin, yet tough enough to stand up to any debris or sharp rocks you may encounter out on the trail, protecting both your feet and the sandals themselves from damage. The cut out design of the upper allows your feet the breathe and helps reduce the weight of the shoe for a light, barely-there feel on the feet. A stretchfit material lining sits just beneath the leather to provide a precise, rub-free fit, and features micro pores to help wick moisture away from the foot to the outer where it can dry quickly - keeping your feet feeling dry, cool and comfortable. Three point adjustability ensures a secure, stable fit that grips the foot firmly but gently - meaning you have greater control on uneven, varied terrain.
This sandal features a lightweight, moulded EVA Footbed with a micro-fibre covering, which works to wick moisture away from the foot, keeping it cool and dry. It also delivers plush cushioning and stability for comfortable wear all day long. A direct-injected PU midsole foam provides long-lasting cushioning and comfort, as well as shock absorption, protecting your joints and muscles from strain and damage - so you can step forward in comfort and confidence.
The outsole has been designed to be light yet incredibly supportive. It offers superior traction and grip on varied outdoor terrain, making these sandals perfect for everything from exploring cities to beaches, to walking holidays. RECEPTOR Technology is based around the natural motion of the foot and the receptors triggered during the gait cycle. Using these findings, ECCO have engineered shoes that take you beyond comfort, where your shoes enhance experience by encouraging your feet to move precisely the way nature designed them to, meaning your feet move in the recommended, natural way, for not only improved comfort but also improved stability and dynamic support from ground impact from toe-off. This in turn means less stress on the body and a reduced risk of injury.
